New CMC teachers in Poland

On the 6th. and 7th. of October, Warsaw’s Educational and Social Innovations Centre WCIES  (Warszawskie Centrum Innowacji Edukacyjno-Społecznych Szkoleń) organised again the national CMC course for teachers  .
There were 16 students attending the course from all over the country and all of them enjoyed very much learning the Children Massaging Children technique.  This simple user-friendly method is already very popular in Poland. For more than a decade hundreds of instructors pass it on to children in kindergartens and schools for benefit of all society.

4D/CMC as a gift for Polish Senator

20 million Poles live abroad all over the world. Mrs Senator Maria Koc visited Auckland for only half a day to meet with polish emigrants in Polish House. It was a very warm meeting with confirmation that the Polish government supports all initiatives to keep the Polish culture and language alive, especially with children born from Polish parents in NZ. This visit created an opportunity to tell her a little of Children Massaging Children programme created in NZ and benefiting children in both countries.

3 Families will Practice CMC Massage During Summer Holidays !!!

What news!
During July and August,  3 families of children from Integration Kindergarten No 45 in Warsaw will  practice hands, head and back massage
once a day .  It will be a challenge for them to stick to it, but it will be an opportunity to strengthen family bonding as well as perseverance. Instructed by Master Instructor Monika Mokrzyszczak, they will learn about how relaxing body and mind  strengthens a child’s self-esteem, sense of safety and trust. Fingers crossed they all will complete the task.  We will report on the results at the beginning of a school year in September.

CMC in Woodlands Primary in Opotiki

Melissa Watkins, from Whakatane, was a graduate from the last course in Auckland, has returned home and immediately organized a Children Massaging Children programme at the Woodlands School in Opotiki. She said “it was a fun day and managed to keep it to under 1hour”. Melissa is a professional massage therapist as well as a mother and did a perfect job. Kids liked the lesson and shared feedback with their partner about what they especially enjoyed. All students received a Diploma for little people, and hopefully brought massage techniques home to share with members of the family as an “almost professional”

Children Massaging Children (CMC) in Polish House in Auckland

Now it will be only one more week, and students from the Polish Sunday School in Auckland  will make from infused viola oil, excellent salve for hand massage. This time we will focus more on technique so I will teach children a little bit more of reflexology. With such educated professionals no doubt their mum’s will be happy to receive a hand  massage from their offspring.
Connecting herbs with touch education program seems to be excellent marriage.

CMC Course in Warsaw

On the 31st March and 1st. of April this year, a CMC course was held in Warsaw with 12 participants from Warsaw and Central Poland . This time the majority of students were from Special Education Schools in Ostrówek and Grodzisk Mazowiecki. For me, passing Children Massaging Children program to Special Education students has a big value. They have the greatest need of  good touch for social development and health. There are already 264 instructors in Poland in 95 Educational Establishments/places.

For the 5th time CMC has been present at the Voices of Sacred Earth Festival in Kawaipurapura http://kawaipurapura.co.nz/voices-of-sacred-earth-festival/ .
There were dozens of workshops, lectures and concerts happening simultaneously during weekend at KPP. The group of participants who chose my presentation in “Prema” room  on Sunday enjoyed Children Massaging Children very much.  After attending this “ One Hour Massage Course”  all of them graduated with  “Special Massage Diploma for Little People”

Visit of Teachers from Sustainable Schools

A Group of teachers from North Shore Enviro-Schools visited NOG community garden on the 21 of March. They were introduced to different hands on activities including sheet mulching technique and the art of hands massage from CMC program using beeswax ointment.
Thinking holistically is caring for nature in a similar way as for caring for people, for school friends, for family members and for society. All elements of nature, plants, bees, butterflies , nettle tea, natural bees wax and hands massage are all interconnected.
Students will have the opportunity to also practice these activities during the school year.
